Since 2019, Your Narrative has worked with entrepreneurs and small businesses in the Greater Edmonton Area (Alberta, Canada) to develop and implement creative marketing strategies.
As Kaitlin grew her business and team with Your Narrative, incorporating her love for fantasy fiction seemed like a natural and exciting way to expand her business.
The plans for Your Enchanted Narrative began in 2023, and having begun as a freelance graphic & web design in marketing in 2012, content creation was undoubtedly going to remain in focus.
The goal from the beginning was clear, and we wanted to launch with everything in place to reach it. Kaitlin’s aim for Enchanted is to help authors be able to market and build their brands successfully—something she’s working on personally as she works on her own fantasy book. With years of experience working with small business, we also wanted to incorporate working with bookish creators and businesses as well.
Kaitlin Tymko
Creative DIrector
Kaitlin began her career as a freelance web and graphic designer in 2011. She worked on projects throughout her time at university and continued building her portfolio while working in marketing for a local business. In 2019, she made the leap to launch her own creative agency. Later branding in 2023 to Your Narrative Brand Design & Marketing Studio, she’s proud to deliver standout marketing and brand strategies to her clients.
With the launch of Enchanted in 2024, she’s been excited to take her own writing projects off the backburner. With a dream to self-publish, working with authors has been a fulfilling part of her career and being able to apply her experience in the marketing field has made the transition of working with new clientele smooth.
Shay Esposito
Marketer & Copywriter
Shay joined the Your Narrative team in Spring of 2023 where she was able to apply her creativity as a copywriter and editor in the marketing field.
In addition to working with small businesses at Your Narrative, Shay owns Vine & Parchment where she offers editing services for fantasy writers.
Her background in songwriting, combined with her love of storytelling, inspired her to continue her education after earning a business degree. While studying creative writing, she quickly realized she was even more passionate about editing than writing and expanded her focus accordingly.
Vine & Parchment
After studying creative writing, she discovered she loved editing even more than writing, and in 2023 she founded Vine & Parchment Editing to give writers a safe, supportive space to share their work and bring their stories to life.
Gothic Fiction Writer
Alongside her work as an editor, Shay is also writing a gothic fiction novel of her own. As both a writer and an editor, she brings a deep respect for the creative process and a love of atmosphere, character, and voice in every story she helps shape.
Avery Diwisch
Marketing Assistant
Avery is a soon-to-be marketing graduate from the University of Lethbridge, with experience in content strategy, media management, and storytelling.
She brings creativity and fresh ideas, drawing on skills in communication, brand awareness, and design. Outside of work, she enjoys the outdoors, painting, and spending time with friends, family, and her cats.
Courtney Proctor
Administrator
Courtney assists the entire team on the administrative side of things. specializing in organization, documentation, and keeping workflows running smoothly.
With a background in Computing Science and Human Ecology, she thrives on systems, efficiency, and solving complex puzzles. Outside of work, she’s curious and methodical, often inspired by investigative documentaries, podcasts, and exploring practical ways to connect details into the bigger picture.
